Monday, February 06, 2006step one: threading the sewing machine As I mentioned before I don't know how to sew and I had never, ever used a sewing machine before yesterday. It took me a good couple of hours to learn how to thread it and to try out the first few stitches. I was ecstatic when I finally got it to work but I was mentally exhausted when I stopped playing with it... as if I had been writing the most complex paper on the cultural implications of new handcrafting trends and the contemporary woman. Yes, it will take me sometime to master this skill. I joined this to keep me motivated.
